Welcome to seventh grade!
It’s a pretty exciting year and I look forward to sharing the school year with you.
This is my fourteenth year at Monticello Middle School and each year brings exciting and memorable experiences. I have been a teacher for twenty-seven years. I have taught in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Little Rock, Arkansas, Fulton County, Georgia, Cleveland Metropolitan and Warrensville Heights School Districts. Yes, I have been a lot of places.
To tell you something about myself, I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and I am a product of Little Rock public schools. I am married and have 2 children. My son, Enoch III, whom we call Trey, sadly passed away January of 2010. My second child is my daughter, Whitney, who has blessed me with my grandchildren, AhJamari, 14, Jayson, 10 and Zoë, 8. They are the light of my life. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, music, surfing the web, traveling and genealogy.
This should be a wonderful (yet different) year for you and I hope that I can help make that happen. It is so important that you do your very best in school.
If you ever need to talk, have questions or concerns,
please let me know. I am here for you and because of you. WE CAN DO THIS!
Have a wonderful year!
